An insightful online programme to celebrate Pride Week
Pride Week is right around the corner! For this occasion, IGLYO is thrilled to have joined forces with our colleagues at the Organising Bureau of European School Student Unions (OBESSU) to prepare a series of not-to-miss online sessions from 24 to 26 May 2022!
These sessions are aimed to inform and build the skills of participants so as to help them develop their tools and understanding of LGBTQI issues, and mainstream inclusion and intersectionality within their organisation. The programme will range from interactive networking sessions to workshops on Consent, Allyship, Trans/intersex youth and LGBTQI Youth Advocacy.
You can check out the full programme further down this page and register for the event through the button below:
Registration deadline: 18 May 2022

Everything is easier if we do it together, and in order to do so, let’s get to know each other a bit better! In this space, we will hear more about the situation on LGBTQI youth activism from LGBTQI youth activists from around Europe and share ideas about how we can work together towards change.

16:00 – 17:00 CEST | Consent Workshop
Let’s share ideas on and learn about how we enjoy (or not) relationships and sex, and how we can gain control over them rather than they controlling us.

We can all do more than just observe from the side. Let’s find out more about how we can each get involved.

16:00 – 17:00 CEST | Trans/Intersex Youth Workshop
What is the difference between social and medical transition? Is it possible for gender to be fluid? What does being intersex mean? How can I be respectful towards trans and intersex communities? Let’s answer these questions together with trans and intersex activists from kolekTIRV.
17:15 – 18:15 CEST | Advocacy session
What’s the situation for young LGBTQI people in the EU and what have we learned from IGLYO’s latest report on Inclusive Education? This session will be a discussion gathering some young LGBTQI activists members of OBESSU and IGLYO from different regions to report on the situation in their countries.
