In the late spring of 1984, the Dutch Gay Youth Platform (LHJO) held the first International Gay Youth Congress and Festival in Amsterdam. This happy and momentous occasion would later result in the establishment of the world’s largest international network of LGBTQI+ youth organisations and student associations. In the fall of 2019, IGLYO celebrated its 35th Anniversary with the launch of the IGLYO Alumni Network.
The Alumni Network aims to provide a platform and context for continued community and organising for the countless LGBTQI+ youth that participated in, contributed to, or led IGLYO’s work and activities over the last 3,5 decades (and counting).
