Into the macro world of microaggressions

Microaggressions are one of the main causes leading to discontent for people working in teams or in social settings. They happen everywhere and all the time. Although they tend to be ignored, they have a tremendous impact on individuals and human relationships. Another secret about microaggressions is that we all do them!

This is why it’s important to recognise them, to learn how to address and prevent them, and to also meet people’s resistance and fear of too much regulation.

In this interactive online workshop, we explored together the macro world of microaggressions. We discussed discuss and learned about what microaggressions are, what it feels like to experience and commit them, and skills and strategies to address and prevent them.

This workshop was organised with the support of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) 2021-2027 programme of the European Union.
