DIH - Equal Under the Rainbow

DIH - Equal Under the Rainbow, is a humanitarian organisation, a voluntary, independent, non-profit association of individuals working for the empowerment and well-being of queer individuals and communities (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, asexual, aromantic, and all those who are questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity) in Slovenia.

Through their activities, they aim to achieve greater knowledge, understanding, visibility, awareness and representation of queer people and issues in order to fight discrimination and achieve equality and inclusion for their community. They work in the fields of communication, publicity, political activities, socialising, sport, recreation, cultural activities, arts, entertainment, creativity and other fields pertaining to queer people. These topics have been implemented as part of the following projects: HIV/AIDS prevention programme Pamet v roke, kondom na glavo!, psycho-social assistance within the LGBT Elder Support Programme, LGBTIQA+ Inclusive University, Active Under the Rainbow, and Youth Under the Rainbow.

Their activities also include discussion groups, workshops, lectures, counselling, publications, informing via social media, cooperation with other NGOs and governmental organisations, assistance to students in the preparation of seminar papers and theses, involvement of volunteers in the work, volunteer training, media campaigns, round tables, and other activities!
