Meet Patrick – new member of the IGLYO Board

IGLYO is very happy to announce that Patrick Dempsey has been co-opted onto the Board of IGLYO as our Communications Officer!

Patrick has spent much of the past 5 years working with the Irish LGBT youth organisation BeLonGTo in lobbying and advocating for LGBT youth issues in Ireland. Patrick has served on the Irish Minister for Children and Youth affairs advisory forum and has worked on homophobic bullying. He appeared on the Irish State broadcaster’s TV series ‘growing up gay’ as well as appearing in various media publicly advocating for LGBT young people. Patrick currently works in the Irish Parliament.

”It is a honour to be on the board of IGLYO and I intend to use my time advocating and working for the betterment of the lives of LGBT youth. I look forward to working with a great team!
