IGLYO is currently working on the second edition of the LGBTQI Inclusive Education Index and Report. Both resources evaluate to which extent Council of Europe Member States have implemented comprehensive inclusive measures within their educational systems and provide best practice examples in this field.
The first editions of the report and the index have proved to be useful tools for advocacy at both national and international level. You can read more about the project in the following link. The second edition will include both updated information for the indicators compiled in the first edition, and some new indicators to reflect the developments in LGBTQI rights in the past years.
To continue developing and advancing this tool, IGLYO is calling for contribution from member organisations and local experts. We will ask contributors to answer a questionnaire focused on their state’s policies, laws and practices of inclusive education such as anti-bullying policies, LGBT Action plans and anti-discrimination laws applicable to education.
If you are interested in contributing to the LGBTQI Inclusive Education Index and Report as a national expert, please get in touch with us by sending an email to education@iglyo.com.
