Are you a young person between 16 and 24 years old? Whether you have already completed or are continuing secondary education, it’s time to get your voice heard on your needs when it comes to sexuality education!
KIT Royal Tropical Institute is conducting an important survey commissioned by UNESCO to learn more about how young people around the world experience what they learn in school about sexuality, reproductive health, and well-being. It’s a unique opportunity for you to share insights on how sexual and reproductive health education can be improved!
The survey is open to participants aged 16-24 years old worldwide, who have completed or are continuing secondary education. It takes only 10 minutes to complete and is entirely anonymous, with no personal data collected. You can stop the survey at any time.
You will be able to give your opinion about learning on topics such as puberty, menstrual health, relationships, preventing unintended pregnancies, STIs and HIV, violence, and many more.
You can reflect on any education you have received about such topics in primary or secondary school — whether in the classroom or through extra-curricular activities at school such as clubs, assemblies, and by counsellors.
The survey will allow for a better understanding of what worldwide youth need and want from their education on these issues, and what can be done better.
The results will be analysed and presented in a report to be shared with a range of partners, and made available online. The findings can also be used to inform other studies.
We at IGLYO warmly encourage LGBTQI young people within the network to take this survey as we might use the findings for our own research.
