‘It's T Time’ – an IGLYO Conference on Building Capacity for Gender Identity work among LGBTQ youth organizations
We are pleased to present you with the Call for Participants for ‘It's T Time’ – an IGLYO Conference on Building Capacity for Gender Identity work among LGBTQ youth organization. This conference will take place in Kiev, Ukraine, in collaboration with our member organisation Insight from October 13th (Wednesday) till October 18th (Monday) 2010.
This event aims to bring together young transgender activists, as well as activists from the LGBTQ youth movement at large, to make contact with each other, exchange experiences and good practices and bring transgender issues into focus. Health Study session: call for 3 prepteam members |

“Knock knock, who’s there?” LGBTQ young people at the doorsteps of health care: Understanding obstacles and increasing access
We are pleased to inform you that IGLYO is organising the Study Session ‘Knock knock, who's there’, to take place in the European Youth Center in Strasbourg, France from November 28th to December 5th 2010.
We are looking for three preparatory team members to help plan, organise and facilitate this conference. The team will consist in total of six people taking into consideration gender and geographical balance in the team.

Changes in the IGLYO Board. Call for Candidate Board Members |

We are sad to inform you that Jazz Munteanu resigned from the IGLYO Board in order to pursue her further education in Canada.
We are committed to continue carrying out our work for the full duration of the present mandate, and we are now actively looking for a new Board member to co-opt.
With this announcement we are officially making a call for prospective applicants to join the IGLYO Board. This procedure is being undertaken in accordance with the IGLYO statutes, which read as follows;
[The General Assembly elects…] Board members every other year, unless vacancies arose since the last General Assembly and the Board wishes to fill these vacancies. The mandate of 7 vacancies filled thus will run until the end of the current Board’s mandate

IGLYO is now looking for a volunteer in the framework of Youth in Action Programme, Action 2. – European Voluntary Service .
Volunteer placement will take place at IGLYO headquarters in Brussels, for a duration of 1 year.
Starting date – March 1st to July 31st 2011 (to be negotiated).

IGLYO TO HOLD CONFERENCE ON ANTI-DISCRIMINATION LAW IN SPAIN |
|
IGLYO is proud to announce its annual Conference ‘Legislating LGBTQ’ on Anti-Discrimination law. This event will take place in the Castillo de San Servando in Toledo, Spain, from May 30 to June 4 and is organized along with the local organization Bolo-Bolo, a member organization of FELGTB.
To coincide with the Spanish EU Presidency, and in the context of the important discussions taking place around the proposed horizontal Anti-Discrimination Directive among EU Member States, IGLYO feels that the ‘Legislating LGBTQ’ Conference is a prime opportunity for young LGBTQ people to meet in Spain and discuss national and international anti-discrimination legislations.
