Working Groups

IGLYO’s Working Groups are thematically focused groups of volunteers that assist the Board and Secretariat in carrying out the work program. Working Groups provide a great opportunity for young activists across the pan-European region to become involved in international LGBTQ activism.

Each Working Group is coordinated by a Board Member and is comprised of three volunteers from our Member Organisations. It is envisaged that the Working Groups will have a mandate that runs with that of the coordinating Board Member.

Composed of members from diverse backgrounds, Working Groups function differently depending on their thematic focus. Generally speaking, Working Groups are responsible for crafting IGLYO’s activities in a specific area, working with members to conduct need assessment, project development and representation in each respective field. More details on specifics Working Groups can be found in sections above.

Currently IGLYO has four thematic working groups that focus on the following areas: Health, Education, ICIRD, Human Rights.
